More than 20% efficiency in olive oil extraction using Rapidase Smart Color

​Discovering new horizons in the extraction of olive oil in La Rioja!

Recently, we had the opportunity to participate in industrial olive-growing trials in La Rioja, where tests were carried out to increase efficiency in the extraction of olive oil, specifically on the mature Arbequina variety. The results were amazing!

During these trials we implemented the use of DSM's Rapidase Smart Color enzyme in the olive oil extraction process. This specialized enzyme has the ability to significantly improve extraction efficiency, optimizing yields and the quality of the oil obtained.

Thanks to the use of Rapidase Smart Color, we achieved increases of more than 20% in olive oil extraction compared to traditional methods. This increase in yield represents a significant advance in production efficiency, making it possible to take full advantage of the properties and potential of ripe Arbequina olives.
