We are happy to announce that we have reached an agreement with the Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay (UTU) to be part of its Labor Internship program.
This program's main objective is to promote the insertion of UTU students and graduates in the labor sector for which they are being trained, giving them the opportunity to gain practical experience and improve their skills in a real work environment.
Since last month, Abastecimientos Nueva Helvecia has implemented this internship program, welcoming Sharon, a third-year student at the Nueva Helvecia Higher Dairy School in the Dairy Industries Technician career. Sharon joined our team on 5/15 and will be with us for two months..
In addition, as part of your experience, we have organized a 1-week exchange with Abastecimientos Villa María in Argentina so that you can get to know the central dairy basin of Argentina, where visits were made to various factories in Córdoba, Santa Fé and Entre Ríos.
We are pleased to be able to provide this opportunity to Sharon and other young talent who want to gain work experience in the field in which they are training. At Abastecimientos, we believe in the value of hands-on education and the transformative power it can have in students' lives. Through this collaboration with UTU, we hope to contribute to the development of skills and knowledge of young people and prepare them for the challenges of the world of work.
