Opening in Villa Maria

Argentina

Last Friday, November 29, we experienced a very special moment with the inauguration of the third stage of the expansion of Abastecimientos Lácteos in the Industrial Park of Villa María, Argentina.

This new stage includes a 900-square-meter warehouse that will allow us to optimize our production and storage processes, marking a milestone in our strategic growth plan.

This achievement is the result of more than 30 years of commitment to the industry. Since our beginnings in Montevideo in 1993, under the vision of Alberto Plata, we have expanded our presence in Uruguay and Argentina, always betting on innovation and quality with the mission of providing specialties to the food, pharmaceutical, agricultural and renewable energy industries.

Director Diego Würth recalled how our history in the city began: "In 2011 we decided that our place had to be Villa María, and in 2016 we opened in the Industrial Park. The first thing was offices and a warehouse, then in 2022 we added production rooms and increased storage, and now, in 2024, we continue to grow."

The event was very special for us. Councilwoman Natalia González gave us the Declaration of Municipal Interest and said: "Abastecimientos takes a new and extremely important step to strengthen our regional economy and generate more opportunities for the city."

For our part, we reaffirm how happy we are to be part of this community, which welcomed us with open arms from the very first moment. "When we first discovered Villa María, we said 'we have to be here'" said Diego Würth.

We also had the presence of Mayor Eduardo Acastello, who highlighted: "In Villa María we support those who invest by generating more opportunities for development and genuine employment."

We would also like to share that new expansion works are already underway: the construction of new offices, a pilot plant for the production of dairy products, a new canteen and rest areas for our team. With these initiatives, we seek not only to meet the growing demands of the market, but also to continue improving our facilities for the well-being of those who work with us.

We are grateful to share this great step with our family, colleagues, clients, suppliers, friends, the city of Villa María and all those who have been part of our history.

This new warehouse is another example of our commitment to continue growing and offering the best solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, agricultural and renewable energy industries.

Thank you for joining us on this journey!
